Reason No. 1: To Express Gratitude
Gratitude is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. During dark times, gratitude can ground us and even provide a bit of light to guide us. Why not share that light? You don't have to wait for someone to do something for you to send a "thank you". Thank someone for just being present. Who are you grateful for? What do they mean to you? Take a moment and reflect on your gratitude, then write it in a note.
