National Letter Writing Month gives us a reason to send love but do we really need one?
When I reconnect with folks I haven’t seen in a while, almost always, part of our reunion conversation is about all of the times, in between our last encounter and the day on which we are sitting and reconnecting, that we wanted to reach out…that we wanted to touch base.
It seems as though folks are seeking for a reason to connect, when in reality just wanting to connect is enough. We don’t need an excuse. We don’t need a prompt. We should just send love. It can be in the form of a hello via text. We can connect with a phone call. Why not, though, reach out with a hand written note.
Send love… just because.
